Advancing Family Planning successfully finalized in Senegal

Samasha with support from Health Policy Plus (HP+) held the Joint Accountability workshop on advancing Family planning from 23rd to 26th August 2021 at Residence Mamoun in Dakar Senegal. The aim of the workshop was to strengthen the capacity of Civil society leaders, Government, and other Family Planning stakeholders including youth ambassadors in fostering joint accountability for family planning especially as countries develop FP2030 commitments.

The objectives of the workshop were;

FP2030 Regional consultative meeting successfully facilitated

Samasha was contracted to facilitate a Regional Experience Sharing and Learning workshop on the development of FP2030 commitments. It was held from 4th to 7th October, 2021 at the Admas Grand Hotel in Entebbe. Participants came from the Advance Family Planning partner countries of Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia and Uganda, as well as stakeholders involved in the FP2030 commitment development process in these countries. It was supported by Reproductive Health Uganda and PPD ARO who are the AFP Uganda implementing partners.

The organisation was incorporated in Uganda in 2012 and has since grown to implement projects in Uganda, Indonesia, Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, Zambia, Malawi, Ivory Coast, Togo, Burkina Faso Nigeria, Senegal, Niger, Mauritania, and Guinea.

We build local and technical capacity for the provision of internationally rated consulting services and projects; and support public, private, and civil society to create synergy to leverage the increasingly scarce resources for improved health needs of populations in the Global South
